What is Neurodiversity?

Neurodiversity is an umbrella term that describes the variety of ways in which our brains can function and process information as human beings.

Underneath the banner of Neurodiversity, people may fall into one of two categories – either Neurotypical or Neurodivergent.

Neurotypical:  These are people without ADHD or Autism or other neurodevelopmental conditions. Their ability level to do any kind of task is usually to around the same level across the board whatever they may turn their hand to.

Neurodivergent:  These are people who may have ADHD, Autism, or any other neurodevelopmental condition such as dyslexia. They think differently and have larger gaps between their strengths and weaknesses.
